Dear Diary . . .
So this is my first blog post! Yayyy!... So Hi guys! I thought I'd just tell you a bit about myself and everything there is to know about my new lifestyle blog!
My name is Tunrie, I am a 22 year old law graduate living in London. I love writing, art, photography, food, coffee-shops, travelling and Chai tea. I have lived in three different cities: Lagos, Toronto and London. I started my first blog in the summer of 2012 in the beautiful city of Toronto but I put that dream on hold to chase another dream of mine- to become a lawyer!
I went on to graduate from the University of Surrey, a top four University in the U.K, with a First Class Honours degree in Law in 2015 (something I would have considered impossible only a few years ago, a journey I would be sharing.) I was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016 and I am currently a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court. I also recently got accepted unto the Masters programme in Law at the University of Oxford (i.e. the Oxford BCL) My programme starts in September of this year and ends next year July. So this is kind of like my year off. I took this year off to explore my other passions like writing, travelling, fashion, photography and my love for art.
So now that my law journey is out of the way for now! Iām going back to my first love, writing! So I started a new blog! First of alI, I solemnly promise to post regularly, yes I have repented! The main focus of this blog will be to empower and encourage students struggling with their University, Law or Final year journeys by offering practical tips, advice and lessons drawn from my own experiences. However, I would also be sharing my other loves such as fashion, beauty, photography, travelling, poetry, writing and my love for art too! Also, if you have any questions or need any advice, feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I can! This has been a long time coming, so join me as I share my love for all things art, writing, travelling, fashion, law, photography and my faith too! Welcome to my world!
